I was recently invited to pick some music and chat on the Lunch Special show on Stanford Radio. Here is a recording of the show and the playlist.

An afternoon of procrastination once revealed my academic genealogy. The ancestral chain goes through Carl Friedrich Gauss back to Otto Mencke in the 17th century.

I used to program in Assembly language for fun. Here is a screen capture of the output of a 1Kb intro I made while skipping school at 16. Here is the source code in x86 assembly. With some executable compression it compiles to less than 1024 bytes.
